We’ve been running camp for over ten years, have raised our own two kids to be strong and competent cyclists, and we are educators and professionals who understand the importance of honoring children’s development.
We strongly believe that when kids’ development is not rushed, but when they are allowed to engage with their surroundings when they are ready, they experience much more success, which builds confidence. Over time, these experiences consolidate and become fortified, fostering joy, creating physical safety, and healthy self-esteem.
When we rush children before they are ready, they often feel unsuccessful, frustrated, and can even be unsafe.
